Tiny Spell Checker

I love it. I’ve been using this freeware for nearly two years up to now and still can’t find another one as good as it or even better. Instead of marking the mistaken spelled word by a red underline like what you can see in most word processors like Microsoft Word or Open Office, it beeps the default or customized sound. Once an error is detected and the sound beeps, you can optionally press a customized shortcut to display the word suggestion list. Pick the appropriate word and click it to do the replacement.

Beside checking your words on the fly, it can also be used to check the words of your clipboard text. So, whenever you copy some words and the software beeps the error sound, it means there is at least one misspelled word in the text.

Unlike the spell checker within most of the word processors, tinyspell can work on all applications. It beeps the error sound if there is a misspelled word within your message when you are making one in your email, or when you type something using Notepad or other simple text editors that do not have built-in spell checker.

All in all, this spell checker has a good performance though there are still some improvements required. If you are satisfied with it, there is also the pro version with more features. Go to the site to download tinyspell now.
